The Sahara is a luxurious motorhome which offers flexibility, comfort and style. Based on extra-long versions of the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer or Citroen Relay, it comprises a 4 berth, 4 seater layout with two individual bedrooms, all in a 6.4m panel van.
With Devon’s popular 2 room layout the Sahara has two belted travelling seats in the front that convert into 2 single beds and a lounge in the rear that easily converts into a full sized double bed. Both cab seats swivel to create an additional cosy living area/dinette in the front and a table is provided for both the front & rear living areas
On the 4 berth model a dividing door between the front and rear gives complete privacy for both bedrooms. There is also a fixed bed version available which gives enormous storage capacity under the rear bed, as well as a 3 berth version which features a larger kitchen & fridge.
The shower/toilet compartment has an electric flush toilet with large wheeled cassette, hand washbasin, mirrored vanity unit and a central heating outlet.
The kitchen area comprises a full size oven and grill with 3 gas and 1 electric burner, a sink with matching glass lid and a 3 way fridge. A folding worktop extension provides further workspace.
For year round comfort the Truma Combi heater provides hot water and quiet blown air central heating throughout the van including into the washroom. It works on gas when offsite and mains electric when hooked up. Gas is provided from a 30 litre underfloor gas tank.
With four comfortable belted travelling seats & sleeping for four all on the same level, the Sahara makes the ideal leisure vehicle for a family of four, or with only two aboard the rear can be used as a fixed bed.
The Sahara is available in a range of colours and engine sizes and also with automatic transmission on the Fiat Ducato. Quality is assured as with every Devon. Your Sahara furniture is hand built by experienced craftsmen in our own joinery shop. We use only the best quality materials, not only in the parts that show such as the upholstery fabric, but also in the parts that don’t such as the top quality foam in the cushions & the marine ply that makes up the floor.
